The GRASP molecular surface display of the Optc model is shown. Hydrophobic surface residues are shown in yellow. A. View equivalent to that shown in Figure 3A. B. View equivalent to that shown in Figure 3B. By default, GRASP defines the following residues as hydrophobic: alanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline. For these views the program was instructed to include cysteine as a hydrophobic residue.
