Figure 8. Analysis of three isoforms of the 9 kDa polypeptide (shown as isoform I, II and III)

The isoforms were isolated by a preparative non-denaturing gel electrophoretic method as described in Methods. The isoforms were collected following electrophoresis in different fractions and the fractions were examined by SDS-PAGE to locate the fraction containing the three isoforms. The 9 kDa isoform I eluted first from a non-denaturing gel during electrophoresis followed by isoforms II and III.
