The genotype distribution of POAG patients were not significantly different from controls (χ2=5.66, degrees of freedom=2, p=0.0590), but there was a difference in the allelic distributions (χ2=4.81, degrees of freedom=1, p=0.0283). The smaller number of individuals/chromosomes for control samples compared to Table 1 is due to repeated failure of PCR done for amplification of 16 bp duplication polymorphism for a few samples.
