Note that the number and relative structural organization of the ONL and OS layers in the LD-Hsc/Hsp70 example is more similar to the Control than the Light-damaged only and the LD-Actin examples. In fact, neither of the latter two show recognizable outer segments (OS), whereas the Hsc/Hsp70-treated retina does. 50x magnification.
