Rho degeneration increased the number of nucleated cellular infiltrates in the interphotoreceptor space (near the outer segment
layer) of the inactive mice. Counting these infiltrates across entire retinal sections revealed that the induced, inactive
mice (red bar) had statistically significantly more infiltrates compared to uninduced mice (black bar). However, this increase
