Relevant mRNAs were identified by using the Affymetrix Gene Ontology Mining Tool to sort probe sets that were included in the statistically significant clusters. These changes in expression occurred when the cytoskeleton would be remodeled to accommodate microvilli that are elongating, phagocytic pathways that are maturing and cortical actin that is remodeling to integrate with the forming tight junctions. Mean values of 3-4 biological replicates are indicated according to the scale, in arbitrary units, depicted at the bottom.
