Using manual counts, the control retina had, on average, 18659 nuclei/mm2. After 3 days of detachment, the cell count is reduced to an average 17516 nuclei/mm2 (p=0.05309). Using nucleus detector counts, the graph is created from results of the nucleus detector. The control retina had, on average, 17501 nuclei/mm2. After 3 days of detachment, the cell count is reduced to an average 17435 nuclei/mm2 (p=0.9755).
