Lumican and keratocan Northern hybridization at 6 weeks (A) and 12 weeks (B) post-injury for the 3 wound types and an unwounded cornea with a GAPDH loading control. Hybridization signals were quantitated and graphed as relative expression as compared to the unwounded control for lumican (C) and keratocan (D). A decrease in lumican and keratocan mRNA is detected 6 weeks post-injury in all 3 wound types. An increase in expression is detected 12 weeks post-injury.
