Table 2. Retinal crystallin transcript levels relative to Hprt

Quantitative analysis of crystallin transcripts in the retina by qRT-PCR. Hprt expression was used to normalize the expression levels. For each crystallin transcript, triplicate reactions were performed on four different total RNA samples. The hypothetical value of 2cycle threshold difference (100% reaction efficiency assumed) was used in calculating the fold difference from Hprt.
