Clinical characteristics of 136 family members in eight Finnish glaucoma families. Patients listed in the "Examined" column were seen by the authors; those in the "Diagnosis confirmed" column had a documented history of glaucoma in hospital records or records from their own ophthalmologist. The asterisk ("*") indicates a patient with chronic congestive glaucoma; the double asterisk ("**") indicates a patient with secondary glaucoma.
