Western blot analysis was performed with a rabbit anti-αA-crystallin antibody. Lane 1 contains protein from αTN4-1 cells, lane 2 contains protein from N/N1003A cells, lane 3 contains protein from HH cells, and lane 4 contains α-crystallin from the lenses of elderly donors.
