Figure 3. Western blot analysis of conditioned medium and cell lysates prepared from REC

The levels of TSP1 and fibronectin were analyzed by western blot analysis of serum free-conditioned medium prepared from REC as described in Methods. Note the absence of TSP1 in TSP1^-/- REC. The TSP1^-/- REC express more fibronectin, especially cell-associated fibronectin, compared to wild type REC. The blot was also incubated with anti-β-catenin as a loading control for intercellular protein levels.
