Figure 6. Transcriptional activation by USF-1 in corneal keratocytes and MG-63 cells

Human mimecan reporter constructs were co-transfected with 50 ng of the USF-1 expression plasmid into corneal keratocytes and MG-63 cells. The day following transfections, cells were UV irradiated and 24 h later luciferase activities were determined. The results are reported as the means and standard errors from three separate transfections, performed in duplicate.
