Immuno-blot analysis of phosphorylated p44/42ERK induction after retinal hole surgery and intravitreal injection of IL-1β. Protein equivalent aliquots of retinal and RPE lysates from eyecup pieces containing all 15 retinal holes at different times after the surgery were analyzed by western blot using a phospho-specific p42/p44 ERK antibody or total p42/p44 ERK antibody.
