Figure 2. Retbindin is related to riboflavin binding proteins

The predicted protein sequence of human retbindin shows similarity with the riboflavin binding protein precursor of the soft shelled turtle (Trionyx sinensis, GenBank accession number BAA08709). Conserved residues, including several cysteine residues (*) that form disufide bridges in the turtle protein, are indicated.
