Table 2. Characteristics of investigated dogs
Characteristics included age of onset forms, age distribution of normal and gPRA affected dogs during the time of DNA isolation, and allele frequencies of the PDC gene in the different breeds examined. The ages of onset in the different breeds were classified according to [31] for AC; according to the owners' report/certificate of eye examination for BDP, Bo, D, GR, IRS (late form) NF, PON, Ro, Sa, ScT, SD, Sl and TM; according to reviews [1,32] and online information from PRA Today for Co, ECS, IRS (early form) LR, MP and TT; and according to [33] for EM.
