Actively cycling rabbit CEC were treated with 10 ng/ml TGF-b2 in DMEM-10 for 24 h and fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde. Cells were stained for pp27 (rhodamine) and p27 (FITC). A and B are primary CEC, C and D are first passage CEC, and E and F are second passage CEC. Data are from three experiments. Primary cultures are labelled "Pr", first passage cultures are labelled "1°", and second passage cultures are labelled "2°". Bar equals 20 mm.
