Immunoblot Analysis of cultured human RPE cells with an antibody to Na,K ATPase. 15 mg of protein from RPE cell extracts was separated on an 8% Polyacrylamide gel and transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane. A single band of approximately 100 KDa was observed. This size corresponds to the a-1 isoform. The molecular weight standards are indicated on the right side. Expression levels were approximately equal under all culture conditions except for DMEM with low glucose.
