Figure 5. Thermal denaturation of SmaI in the presence of lysozyme and BSA
BSA and lysozyme were added to 3 units of the enzyme containing 33 ng of BSA and 0.5% glycerol, and the volume was adjusted to 13 ml by 1X buffer, supplied by the manufacturer. The thermal denaturation was done at 37 °C for 90 min and the DNA digestion was carried out at 25 °C for 90 min.
