ThT fluorescence was observed to increase with HMW aggregation for aA- and aB-crystallin. Protein samples were preheated at 62 °C for 2 h and then cooled to room temperature before fluorescence measurements were taken. Separate measurements were taken with no heating (0 h) and after two hours of heating at 62 °C (2 h).
