Trp fluorescence spectra of aA- and aB-crystallin was measured at 25 °C and 62 °C. With increasing temperature, Trp emission intensity was observed to decrease and the emission maximum shifted to longer wavelentghs. Protein concentrations for both crystallins was 0.1 mg/ml, and the excitation wavelength was 295 nm.
