The chemical shift index [21] was plotted as a function of the internal (to the peptide) residue number. A consecutive series of residues with values of -0.1 or more are strongly indicated as a helix. This graph shows a strong indication of helix for residues 18-25, and a moderate suggestion of helix for residues 1-9.
