Figure 6. Effect of NDGA and 12(S)HETE on DNA synthesis following stimulation of human HLE-B3 cells with EGF
The HLE-B3 cells were deprived of serum for 48 h and then stimulated with EGF for 18 h. NDGA (30 µM) and/or 12(S)HETE (3 µM), when present, were added 40 min before the addition of growth factors. At the end of 18 h culture period, cells were pulse-labeled for 1 with 0.5 µCi 3H-thymidine. Results are the average of three measurements; error bars represent SEM.
