Clone 2 (partial) nucleotide sequence, consisting of 322 nucleotides (AF070940), was aligned with the 465 nucleotide sequence of a mouse EST (mouse EST AA198287) and with the 359 nucleotide sequence of a rat EST (rat EST AI072094). Nucleotide numbers of the respective sequences are shown on the right of the figure. The putative stop codon, TAA, in the clone 2 sequence is marked in red. The polyadenylation signal, AATAAA, is marked in green. Gaps in the sequences introduced to maximize alignment are indicated with dashes. Nucleotide mismatches are in lower case.
