Bay K 8644 (1 µM) was present from 10 min prior to the second stimulation period until its end and was then washed out with normal BSS. Bay K 8644 potentiated the response to 35 mM K⁺ (bottom panel). In some photoreceptors, Bay K 8644 alone elicited a large response (top panel). Eight cells were recorded showing various stimulatory responses similar to these.
