A: Diabetic mice were topically treated with 100 ng/ml RvD1 (5 μl/eye, four times per day) after the removal of the corneal epithelium. Meanwhile, healthy and diabetic control mice were topically treated with 0.1% ethanol. The residual epithelial defect was examined at 0, 24, and 48 h after the removal of the corneal epithelium with fluorescein staining as described previously.
