N reflects the number of eyes tested. HVF (Humphrey visual fields) inclusion depended on the following reliability parameter limits: Fixation losses (33%), False positives (20%), False negatives (20%). Field loss patterns were assessed for each eye individually and include GVF (Goldmann visual field) interpretations in addition to HVFs. Some Mutation- patients had both central and peripheral defects, and some Mutation+ patients did not have detectable defects on visual field testing.
