Figure 1. Expression of the mutant EPHA2-Myc proteins from the mutant constructs. Cell lysates of HEK293A cells transiently transfected
with the mutant EPHA2–Myc constructs were analyzed at 24 h (1) and 48 h (2) post-transfection. The proteins were size-separated by SDS–PAGE. The transiently
expressed protein was detected by western blotting with the anti-Myc primary antibody and HRP-conjugated secondary antibody.
Three clones each of the recombinant EPHA2-Myc carrying A: p.P584L, B: p.T940I, C: p.D942fsXC71, and E: p.V972GfsX39 mutation and a clone carrying D: p.A959T mutation show protein of the expected size (∼130 kDa). Cells transfected with the wild-type EPHA2-Myc construct were used as a positive control. Protein extracts of mock transfected cells were used as a negative control. Masses
of protein standards are indicated in kilo Daltons (kDa).
