Middle row, cells hybridized with the rabbit anti-GM130 primary antibody (marker for cis-golgi apparatus) and Cy5 conjugated anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody as a control for cross-reactivity of the anti-mouse secondary antibody to the primary antibody generated in rabbit. Bottom row, mock transfected cells hybridized with both the secondary antibodies without a primary antibody used as a control for any background due to the secondary antibodies.
