Immunoblots of lysosomal fractions of melanized multiple 1 µM A2E-treated ARPE-19 cells challenged with rod outer segments (ROSs) were probed with anti-rhodopsin D4 monoclonal antibody and Cy3-conjugated goat anti-mouse ECplex fluorescent antibody (1:2,500, Amersham Biosciences, Piscataway, NJ). Processed blots were scanned in a Typhoon 9410 scanner (Amersham Biosciences). Results shown are representative of three separate experiments.
