The combined TNFA-308G/-238G haplotype had a significant negative association with IIU, suggesting a protective effect against development of the disease. Two marker haplotypes were inferred in PLINK. Statistical analyses used the Pearson X² test with 2-tailed probability values in PLINK with Bonferroni correction for the number of haplotypes (n=4).
