Comparison of fold difference in mRNA abundance calculated from array hybridization (array, fold difference) and qPCR (qPCR, fold difference) between three ocular fibroblast types hCF, hSF, and hTF. The mRNA abundance of one cell type (left column) is compared to the mRNA abundance of the other two cell types. The array hybridization data are averaged over 4–5 individual samples whereas the qPCR data were obtained from one RNA sample for each cell type. The gene symbol indicates the specific mRNA. 18S rRNA served as internal reference.
