The 2P152 and 2P141 prey constructs were also tested for interactions with the PITX2 homeodomain bait construct, and a full length FOXC1 bait construct, both yielding negative results. The 2P152 and 2P141 prey constructs were also co-transformed with an empty bait construct to test for prey self-activation.
