Western blot analysis was performed with anti-V5 antibody on lysates from Cos-7 cells transfected with pEF CTRP5 wt T (lane 2), pEF CTRP5 mt T (lane 3), pCMV CTRP5 wt T (lane 4), pCMV CTRP5 mt T (lane 5), and nontransfected Cos7 cells (lane 1). Lanes 4 and 5 were transfected with hCTRP5 expression vectors as a positive control. Detection with anti-V5 antibody produced a single band with a molecular weight around 31 kDa for both the pCTRP5 (lanes 2 and 3) and hCTRP5 (lanes 4 and 5) V5-tagged protein.
