Figure 3. Heterozygous ninaE mutants maintain rhabdomeric integrity. Flies in panels (A-C) were processed 21 days post eclosion and reared in constant darkness at room temperature. Flies in panels (D-F) were processed 30 days post eclosion and reared in 12 h:12 h light–dark cycles. Note the distinct presence of rhabdomeres in the heterozygous mutant photoreceptors in both regimens.
