Each value means fold change of mRNA expression, and the value at 0 h was set as 1. For example, expression of IL-6 increased over 1,400 fold upon 8 h desiccation. Results are expressed as the mean±S.D. (n=3). The Ct of GAPDH was nearly constant (approximately 22) in each h.
