The efficiency of transfection was estimated in TM cells transfected with pIRES-EGFP (Mock), pIRES-WT myocilin (WT), or pIRES-Pro370Leu mutant myocilin (P370L) by counting the percentage of EGFP-positive cells using flow cytometry analysis. The non-transfected TM cells are used as the control. The transfection efficiency was about 38%–46%.
