Figure 2. Standard photographs to illustrate the system for grading lenses. Grade 0 means the absence of opacification and the gridlines clearly visible; grade 1 means slight degree of opacification, the gridlines under the lens are mininal clouding and still visible; grade 3 means extensive thick opacification involving in the entire lens, the gridlines are total clouding and not seen at all.
