The table summarizes the results of the choroidal neovascularization (CNV) thickness measurements of the 4 study and 2 control groups at post inoculation day 3, 7, 10, 14, and 21. Data are provided as means and standard deviations (±SD). The incidence of CNV induction was similar in all study and control groups (range 88% to 96%), however, CNV growth was superior in 2-month-old C57BL/6 mice following subretinal injections of RPE cells (study group 1) or RPE cells and microbeads (study group 2).
