α-crystallin fraction, recombinant βA3/A1-crystallin, and recombinant
βB1-crystallin. The recombinant proteins were treated with 1% sodium
deoxycholate (w/v) before their chromatography (TSK G3000 PWXL).
The proteinase activity was determined by the incubation of column
fractions with BAPNA at 37 °C for 10 h.
