intensity is the difference between the mean values from light
intensity at the lesion site and the mean values from light intensity
of an area close to the lesion site. Four weeks postinjection, the Δlight
intensity at the lesion site was on average six times higher in
eyes that were injected with HC Ad.VEGF-A compared to the eyes that
were injected with HC Ad.FK7 (control). The highest/lowest Δlight
intensity at the lesion site is indicated by the error bars.
