shows peau d'orange (diffuse, mottled hyperpigmentation) and angioid
streaks, as indicated by arrows. The angioid streaks resemble retinal
blood vessels and radiate from the optic disc to the periphery of the
retina. These two signs are the most frequent ophthalmologic features
of pseudoxanthoma elasticum.
