The endothelial cell density, in cells/mm2 (mean±standard deviation), progressively decreased after the LPS injection from the 6th h to the 72nd h compared to the controls and then increased at 96 h, but there were no statistically significant differences. The asterisk indicates that the ANCOVA test was used for analysis.
