protects Müller glial cells from wild-type mice from iron-induced
stress. The Müller glial (MG) cells from wild-type (WT) mice at
the first passage were treated with 100 µM of FeCl3-NTA (FN)
in presence or absence of different concentrations (2.5, 5, 10, and 20
ng/ml) of human apo-transferrin (h apo-Tf). Their number was
determined by counting in comparison to control condition. Each column
represents the mean ±SEM. The asterisk represents statistical
significance of differences from FN alone, p<0.05.
