Figure 7. Number of cells adhered to the lens capsule following treatment with rofecoxib or celecoxib

Cells were counted from a hematoxylin and eosin stained slide of 6 different lens capsules in each treatment group. There was a significant decrease (p<0.001) in the number of cells present in the celecoxib and rofecoxib treated groups compared to the vehicle controls.
