Real time RT-PCR revealed that Tollip (A) and IL-1 (B) expression is elevated in some of the BTX-B-injected lacrimal glands compared to either the non-injection group or saline injection group. This elevation was not significantly affected by topical treatment (AT, CsA, and FM). The relative expression levels were calculated by the comparative Ct method with the setting group Con as 1.00; n=7 in each group. The p-value was calculated by Kruskal-Wallis test using LSD after ranks. In A, the asterisk indicates a p=0.36 control versus "CSA" and p=0.31 control versus "FM".
