Expressed sequence tags data and annotation were summarized from libraries of human, mouse and guinea pigs, respectively. The asterisk indicates that the ESTs were annotated based on sequence comparison to Refseq database by using BLASTn with e-value cutoff of 1e-10. The double asterisk indicates that the ESTs were annotated based on NCBI nonredundant (nr) database by using BLASTn with e-value cutoff of 1e-10. The sharp (hash mark) indicates that the ESTs were annotated based on Uniprot by using BLASTx with e-value cutoff of 1e-5. The double sharp indicates that the ESTs were annotated based on dbESTs (NEIBank) by using BLASTx with e-value cutoff of 1e-5.
