Figure 8. The inhibitory effect of AG1478 on the auto-induction of epiregulin in HCECs

HCECs were exposed to 10 ng/ml of epiregulin for 2 h with or without preincubation of AG1478 (1 μM), and the relative expression of epiregulin mRNA was examined by real-time PCR. The amount of mRNA was calculated relative to the amount of GAPDH mRNA in the same samples. P values were calculated by the two-sample t test. Results are mean±SEM of five independent experiments.
