Appendix 1. Comprehensive protein composition data

This appendix is an Excel file containing comprehensive protein composition data for spots in which we were able to identify protein species. Protein species are identified by Swiss-Prot accession number and protein name. Source, protein probability assigned by Scaffold software, and standard mass spectrometry measures are indicated for each species. To access these data, click or select the words "Appendix 1". This will initiate the download of a compressed (zip) archive that contains the Excel file. This file should be uncompressed with an appropriate program (the particular program will depend on your operating system).
