Oligomeric size as a function of increasing temperature was used to estimate the transition temperature of αA-crystallin (A) and its mutants, wt-ITV (B) and wt-IGV mutants(C). All three species increase in oligomeric size with increasing incubation temperatures, but the transition occurs at a lower temperature with the IGV mutant.
